Origin: Estate of Montericco (Imola)
Soil: Medium soil mix, with a slight prevalence of clay
Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Sangiovese 45%, Merlot 15%
Harvest: 1st decade of October
Vinification: Seven days at the temperature of 28/30° C. The must is then left to macerate on the skins for 15 days
Ageing: 9 months in barriques, then 4-5 months in small oak's barrels
Bottling: In the month of March of the second year following the harvest
Refining: 6/9 months in bottle
Colour: Intense ruby red
Bouquet: Pronounced bouquet of red berries with vanilla tones. Multilayered
Taste: Delicate, rich, complex and long lasting
Food paring: Roasted or grilled meats, game and mature cheeses
Notes: Only produced in the best vintages
